Set the kettle to be ready when you get up, and there's one less thing to think about before your first coffee. You can also adjust the temperature hold time, set your preferred brewing temperatures and even account for altitude if you're making coffee halfway up a mountain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut the real reason we keep coming back to the Stagg is how it pours. The precision spout gives you a beautifully steady, controlled flow, making it easy to manage agitation and water distribution without having to concentrate too hard on what your hand's doing. It's particularly lovely for smaller brews, where a bit too much enthusiasm with the kettle can make a right mess of your coffee bed.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt's not going to magically make better coffee than the standard EKG, and if all you want is a really nice pour-over kettle, the original is still brilliant.
