We’re looking for a practical and reliable Production Assistant to join our small team at Cuppers Choice.
We’re a team of five, so this is a varied, hands-on role. You’ll help us prepare, pack and dispatch coffee orders while keeping the roastery running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Weighing, packing and labelling coffee
- Preparing wholesale and online orders
- Helping with stock, deliveries and dispatch
- Supporting the roasting team with day-to-day production
- Recording weights, batch information and order details accurately
- Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe
- Helping with quality checks and other roastery tasks when needed
What we’re looking for
Experience working with coffee or in a production environment is preferred, but you don’t need to tick every box.
You’ll be a good fit if you:
- Are reliable and comfortable working as part of a small team
- Have good attention to detail
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work
- Can stay organised when things get busy
- Are willing to learn and help wherever needed
- Are comfortable working on your feet, lifting and moving boxes and coffee sacks
- Are happy working in a physically demanding, busy and sometimes loud production environment
The details
- Full-time position
- Salary starting at £30,000, depending on experience
- Based at our roastery in Sheffield (S3 9PT)
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – varied shifts scheduled within our operating hours of 8am to 6pm.
- Relocating for the role? We may be able to offer a small contribution towards relocation costs for the right candidate
