What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

When will my coffee expire?

Coffee is safe for consumption up to 12 months after it's roasted (roast date on bag/tub). It's going to taste best 2-8 weeks after roast date.

What does the date sticker mean?

The date sticker on your tub or bag refers to the day it was roasted.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As a reminder, domestic return shipping is free.

What does the bar about Light Filter - Medium Espresso mean?

This is how we define our roasting style.

Light Filter = Fruity, best enjoyed black, better suited for filter brewing than espresso.

Medium Filter = Fruity, can be enjoyed black or with milk, ideal for filter but can be brewed as espresso.

Light Espresso = Fruity but bold, can be enjoyed black or with milk, ideal for espresso, but can be brewed as a filter.

Medium Espresso = Bold flavours, ideal for novice espresso brewers, can be enjoyed black or with milk.

Is your coffee a single-origin or a blend?

All our coffee is single origin unless otherwise stated

Is your coffee roasted to order, or is it pre-roasted and stored before shipping?

We generally roast to order, but reserve the right to ship up to 10 days after roast date when stock levels are high. Don't worry, it tastes best 15+ days after roast!

What type of coffee beans do you use?

Traceable, speciality grade Arabica. The variety and processing methods are explained per product.

Is your coffee fair trade and ethically sourced?

We don't believe anybody can really say their coffee is ethically sourced, we don't respect Fair Trade as universal fairness marker in this industry.

We acknowledge the wide disparity between the UK's GDP and those of the countries we trade with - and are doing everything we can to be part of the solution.

Each coffee, origin, and partnership is different - please read the story section of the product you are interested in so you can make an informed decision.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep sealed, in a cool dry place. If you wish to keep it for longer than 3 months, we recommending freezing and thawing before use.

Will my coffee go off?

It's safe for at least one year after roast date. For best result keep it sealed, in a cool dry place. If you wish to keep it for longer than 3 months, we recommending freezing and thawing before use.

Is your coffee packaging recyclable?

250g Bags are made from PCR recycled plastic, and are recyclable with soft plastics.

Kilo Bags are made recyclable with soft plastics.

What is the origin of the coffee beans?

How fresh is the coffee and what is the roast date?

The roast date is labelled on the bottom of the bag. Typically this will be within 5 days of when you ordered the coffee. We reserve the right to ship up to 10 days after roast date when stock levels are high.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.
