Introducing the Timemore Basic 3 Scales - the latest addition to the Black Mirror family, bringing even more brewing tech to your coffee setup without the hefty price tag.
To be honest, we pretty much just just use the timer and weighing functions, but they've got loads of other bells and whistles like flow rate and auto-tare etc.
They're accurate to 0.1g - which is all you need unless you're doing... chemistry. The LED's have been upgraded since the last version, they tell you more stuff about flow rate and even real time coffee-to-water-ratio.
They're a little smaller that the last version, and smaller than most scales of this type, which makes them really nicely suited for espresso as well as for brewing scales. The also boast improved water resistance, so should be good for a splash here and there.
The battery life is impressive too - they say 24hours, but I've not sat and watched them for the full day and night to verify that... we can safely say its pretty long though. Oh yeah, USB-C charger just like everything is now.
If you want some good scales without breaking the bank, then the Timemore Basic 3 are a great shout.
